Different sites:

We fly beautiful sites all over South Africa and we must all ensure that we follow the site rules applicable to preserve the privilege extended to us.

Some sites offer free flying, as for others a fee is payable either to the farmer/owner or the controlling club. Remember that you have to be a current SAHPA member to fly these sites.

Greg Hamerton's Fresh Air Site Guide has an extensive list of all the popular paragliding sites in SA with contact details, wind direction, etc.  You can also check the SAHPA website for flying sites.

I listed some of the sites we love to fly. Click on the links below. Familiarise yourself with the site rules, restrictions and licence requirements. Where site fees are payable, do so before you visit the site, and take proof of payment with you.
